About me!
User talk:JustSomeBot... redirects here, because I'll never check that page.
Greetings, I'm JSD, and I'm an Administrator here. My goal as part of this community is to help make editing a great experience for everyone here, for new editors and experienced editors too. I want to help make that happen with my privileges as an admin. I also am the admin that's primarily overseeing the Discussions portion of the wiki.
This is my talk page, feel free to leave me a message here if you ever want to communicate with me. Keep a few things in mind though:
- Please leave your messages under a related section heading. This is one of my biggest pet-peeves on wikis.
- If I leave a message or reply on your page, it's better that you leave your own reply here on my page, so that I am notified of your reply by both a message that pops up on Fandom's toolbar (even when I'm on other wikis) and/or an email (should I be inactive at that time).
- Communication here is public. If you would like to communicate with me privately, try to catch me on the wiki's Discord server, where my username is the same as it here.
- I do not respond to simple, purposeless messages like "hi whats up" and I do delete them.
Anyways, I hope I can help make your experience as part of this community as pleasant as possible. JustSomeDude... Talk |
Deletion
Hey I was wondering if it was possible that You could delete all my contributions on this wiki except the zoro competition post? ~ Idolsama
Friendly warning about a potential (& racist) Troll
Hey, you may not take my word for it, but I still feel like I should warn you about the user "Newgate438738743". I've had dealings with him on another wiki where he was blocked for being kind of a racist troll. Normally, I wouldn't care much for it that much even if he were editing here, but he just commented on my userpage making it clear he's following me and still hasn't let go of the fact that I initially helped report him on the other place. Timjer (talk) 16:29, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
Just saw it and that's why i have to answer myself.
He's lying about the claim i'm following him. I just saw a few hours ago he's here and couldn't resist to write him because his name looked familiar when i saw it and after i realized it's him. I actually wanted to keep it personally/private, but he wrote here, so i had to do it myself.
That's all.Newgate438738743 (talk) 17:32, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
Post Creation
@ASimon24 redirected me to you so ig i'll just explain how the post i want to create works here. The post is called claim your one piece character and here are the rules for said post
Brief Overview of Rules
- 6 characters will be claimed in order to move on to the next round! You need to achieve the most upvotes to claim your character**
You must choose only one character Multiple considerations are allowed, but you must make a final decision. Please provide the characters' names and not their aliases E.g. (Red Hair, or Guy with Hat) as it makes the characters easier for me to identify. Yes I read all the comments. You can only claim the characters that are in the picture If there are 7 people who reply with 7 different characters, I will only consider the first 6 choices.
- Bribery is allowed. E.g. (An upvote for an upvote)**
- You need to provide a justification as to the choice of your character. Avoid stuff like this**
"Zoro" "I am going to select Luffy."
- Here's a proper example for someone wishing to claim: I claim Nico Robin. He's my favorite One Piece character. Robin is one of the best characters from One Piece. And she's also one of the best written characters from the One Piece franchise.
- Reason: To be fair to those who have legitimate reasons, as opposed to users who merely write their names and somehow garner the most upvotes. If you state the name of your character without providing a reason, your vote will not be taken into account.
so yeah those are the rules, if they want they can try again if they don't get the character they want. if they didn't get their first choice , they can try again with their second favorite character. it's just about who gets the most upvotes so its still fair for everyone. Also if you don't approve of this please tell me why -@Seekerbro — Preceding unsigned comment added by Seekerbro (talk • contribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~ next time!
- edit. I forgot to mention but there will be only 36 characters claimable — Preceding unsigned comment added by Seekerbro (talk • contribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~ next time!
Re:Undoing edits of new users
I'm well aware of the rules and I also want to be welcoming to new users. Whenever I undo someone's edits, I try to be as explanatory as possible for why. The only times I don't give a reason is if it is vandalism or if the information added is obviously false or unnecessary. If you can tell me an example of where I went wrong with this, that would be very helpful. AverageLiteratureEnthusiast (talk) 18:56, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
If this is concerning the issue with Byju the editor, it's completely untrue. Their edits that claim to be "undoing" my edits are just adding legitimate information from Chapter 1117, which I normally wouldn't remove. For the Marshall D. Teach/History and Vegapunk pages, if you look at the histories here and here, you'll see that I last edited the pages on March 28 and May 3, respectively, neither were me undoing an edit from them. They also use the same revision number "2005339" across those three edits they made (A revision number which would be from approximately May 28). If this was a real issue, the revision number would be somewhere around 2008000, and undoing multiple edits would require different revision numbers each time, so this isn't right. Offensive troll
There is a troll on the wiki asking ppl to kill themselves and saying offensive things. Please ban them. NAME: @LivvyDunneRizzedUpBabyGrock
Another troll
Another troll has started spamming offensive messages on the wiki. Please block them Sorry to be that person who always reports people
Chapter 1125 spoilers
Hey, the spoilers for 1125 have been leaked for only a few minutes and I've already had to undo an edit around them. You might want to lock the Saturn, Five Elders, Figarland Garling, and Imu pages if you ask me. Timjer (talk) 10:47, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
About Babaev
Hello, umm... I would like to discuss on the behalf of the said user. Babaev had contacted me through Discord and they claimed the reason why they did the edit wars with the other users and everything that was said about him was a lie. Also, from what I was told, Babaev claimed that they were set up and blocked on purpose by the other users who were possibly responsible against them. Please feel free to consider. Also, Babaev is ready to explain everything regarding they reason of why they got banned. If or unless you have Discord, you may DM with Babaev. Kunoichi101 (talk) 22:37, 14 October 2024 (UTC)
- I understand, and it was a worth try to discuss with just in case. Kunoichi101 (talk) 03:59, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
Discord Crewmate
Hey, I heard I have to talk to one of you guys to be a crewmate on the Discord server. Do I have to show you my username or a connection to my Discord account here? - Alex26337 (talk) 03:39, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
I'm kinda new to this
Sorry I'm new to watching One Piece recently I finished Whole Cake Island I didn't know
Yamato
This constant activist effort to call Yamato son, he etc. may feel like a place to champion trans rights or whatever, but it completely diminishes the actual story dynamic between Yamato and Kaido. The entire premise of the conflict between them is that Kaido wanted a son, but got a daughter instead. Pretending Yamato is actually Kaido's son makes this part of the story irrelevant. Furthermore, Yamato is under no illusions that she's actually a man any more than she actually believes she's Kozuki Oden. Ogre Princess is not an epithet one gives to a man. It's not "vandalism" for people to correct erroneous information in Yamato's wiki page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by OozaruRinon (talk • contribs). Potential Collab Opportunity for One Piece Wiki
Hi! I’m reaching out from Fandom’s Community Activations team with a potential collaboration opportunity with Fandom and Netflix for the upcoming season of One Piece (Live-Action) on Netflix.
I've shared this message with all active One Piece Wiki admins to see if there there's interest in a temporary homepage update and wiki design refresh to celebrate the new season.
Here’s how it would work: Netflix would provide official materials for the season to Fandom, and our team’s designers would update the wiki’s look, feel, and homepage content to showcase the season. The updated theme and homepage would remain live for the series’ release window (usually a few weeks), and afterward, you’d be welcome to retain any of the updates or fully revert to your previous content and design.
We’d ensure that the wiki’s legacy design is respected while creating a theme aligned with the new live-action season. We’d also showcase elements of the live-action series and new season using appropriate homepage content modules.
As a thank-you, if the collab goes forward, any active One Piece Wiki admins would receive a digital gift card which could be used toward an annual Netflix subscription or whatever you choose (some country restrictions apply).
Would you be interested in having the wiki participate? If so, please let us know at your earliest convenience. You can respond here or reach out to me directly at brian@fandom.com with “One Piece Wiki” in the subject line.
Thanks for considering it! Brian 19:55, 3 December 2025 (UTC)
