Numabou — onepiece

Numabou^[2] was a ship belonging to the Caribou Pirates. After being destroyed by Surume,^[3] it was later rebuilt,^[4] but Caribou was forced to abandon it.^[5]

Numabou is a small ship with three masts and a moose figurehead. It is slightly larger than the Thousand Sunny, and it has a dark-colored strip along the side.

Fish-Man Island Arc

After escaping the Sabaody Archipelago, the Caribou Pirates pursued the Straw Hat Pirates under the sea with their coated ship, which was pulled by Momoo. The Numabou got close enough to the Thousand Sunny for Caribou to board it, but Momoo pulled away Caribou's ship after seeing Nami.^[1] The Caribou Pirates forced Momoo to follow the Sunny again, but when they found Caribou and the Straw Hats, the Kraken Surume crushed the Numabou.^[3]

Caribou's Kehihihihi in the New World

After rebuilding the ship, the Caribou Pirates were sailing underwater when they happened to encounter Caribou who was in Jinbe's custody.^[4] They chased after Jinbe and Caribou, but the fish-man outsped them.^[6]

Later, the Numabou docked at the G-5 base in order to rescue Caribou, who was about to be executed.^[7] Once freed, though, Caribou fled on the ship, leaving his crew behind with the Marines.^[8] A storm then forced Caribou to abandon the ship.^[5]

Trivia

The ship's name is a combination of "numa" from Caribou's Devil Fruit and "-bou" from the co-captains' names.
