Romy[3] is a young girl who participates in Uta's concert on Elegia. She appears in One Piece Film: Red.[1]

Appearance

Romy is a small girl with green eyes and freckles. Her hair is styled into pigtails and split into two colors down the middle; the right side is red and the left side is blonde. She also wears a large ribbon in her hair that is red on the right side and white on the left side. She wears a tattered lilac-purple dress with a yellow ribbon and a large patch on the right side, and brown shoes.

Personality

Romy admires Uta[4] and is a big fan of her music, traveling all the way to Elegia to attend her concert. She is easily excited and was overjoyed to watch Uta's performance. Her idolization of Uta is not endless, however, and she loudly criticized Uta's plan of trapping everyone in the Uta World, begging her to stop when she summoned Tot Musica.

Like many of Uta's fans, Romy strong dislikes pirates, becoming anxious when she learned Uta was Shanks's daughter; however, she was easily reassured that Uta was not like her father, and was willing to continue supporting the idol.

Despite Uta's actions, Romy remains a fan of her music, and continues to listen to it after returning home.[1]

History

Past

At some point in the past two years, Romy discovered Uta's music. She, along with other fans, sent videos thanking Uta for her singing, with Romy personally asking if there was a way to meet Uta and be safe with her; this partially inspired Uta's concert plan.

Romy participated in Uta's concert on Elegia. She cheered during Uta's opening performance of New Genesis, and was shocked to learn that she was Shanks's daughter, cheering after she defeated the Big Mom and Jellyfish Pirates and deciding that she wasn't like her father. Uta flew around the crowd, creating food for any hungry audience members, and she gave Romy a cat plush, which Uta told her she was allowed to keep.

Later, when Koby revealed the existence of the Uta World to the spectators, she asked Uta if it was true that she had lied and trapped them, which angered Uta and led to the spectators to begin fighting. Trying to make them happy, Uta transformed everybody around her into toys, turning Romy into a stuffed cat, similar to the one she was initially given.

As a stuffed cat, Romy floated near Uta while she explained Elegia's destruction to Luffy. She stayed nearby, and was among the civilians begging Uta to stop when she summoned Tot Musica.

After Uta freed her fans from the Uta World, Romy was seen waking up on Elegia. She later returned to her hometown, where she continues to listen to Uta's music.[1]
