Technology is a machine, piece of equipment, method, etc. that is created by the practical application of scientific knowledge.[1]
The Great Kingdom—which existed 900 years in the past—is said to have had technology far more advanced than the modern era.[2]
Wind Knot
Haredas demonstrates the Wind Knot.
The Wind Knot (風の結び目, Kaze no Musubime?) is a rope with wind-creating properties that is tied three times: Untying one knot results in a light breeze, untying a second knot brings a strong wind, and untying the last knot summons a squall.[3] In the anime, Nami uses this rope in conjunction with her Perfect Clima-Tact to perform a technique that dispels an oncoming cyclone.[4]
Self-Destruct Switches
A self-destruct switch (自己破壊スイッチ, jiko hakai suitchi?) is a mechanism that can cause an object to destroy itself or render itself inoperable after a predefined set of circumstances has occurred.
A switch was left in Vegapunk's old laboratory on Karakuri Island that went off when Franky caused the Nightmare of Baldimore[5] with another one undisturbed in what remains.[6] The Research Institutes on Punk Hazard also had self-destruct switches. Caesar Clown used them to destroy two of the Research Institutes,[7] and years later, Monet planned to activate the switch in the Third Research Institute[8] but was killed before she could press the button.[9]
Before Kuma had undergone the final surgery to purge his freewill, Jaygarcia Saturn ordered Vegapunk to install a self-destruct switch in case Kuma was out of control;[10] however, due to Vegapunk not wanting Kuma to be used as a weapon, he decided to implement it by the letter and made it a total shutdown switch. It was eventually used by Saturn after Kuma was rescued by the Revolutionary Army.[11]
Myskina Acier used a switch to destroy his research at Alchemi to stop Mad Treasure getting the Pure Gold.[12]
Face Pack
Face pack.
A face pack is a creamy or thick pasted mask applied to the face for cleansing or skin-smoothing purposes.
The Germa Kingdom made a pack that stops swelling but does not heal the face[13] with the swelling coming back once removed.[14]
Fluffy Balloon System
The Fluffy Balloon System (ふわふわ風船システム, Fuwafuwa Fūsen Shisutemu?) is a device which allows Charlotte Flampe to float in the air like an actual balloon. The device was obtained when Big Mom was destroying other countries.[15]
Printing Press
A printing press (印刷機, insatsu-ki?) is a mechanical device for applying pressure to an inked surface resting upon a print medium (such as paper or cloth), thereby transferring the ink.
Printing presses are used to print newspapers and wanted posters.[16]
Vegapunk's Scientific Achievements

| Seastone ship hull |
|
Utilizing Seastone on ships to ward off Sea Kings, enabling passage through infested areas such as the Calm Belt.[17][18] | Vegapunk |
| Island-wide climate control |
|
This was first attempted on Karakuri Island with a large geothermal heating system, but it was never completed and later destroyed by Franky.[19] It was later accomplished successfully on Egghead; Vegapunk intends on developing it further to potentially achieve weather control.[20] | Vegapunk |
| Cloud Plant |
|
Normally, these clouds cannot exist at Blue Sea level, however on Egghead, Vegapunk developed an island-wide air conditioning system that controls and regulates Egghead's climate and modifies the density of pyrobloin and moisture in the condensation nuclei, thus re-creating sea clouds and island clouds from the sky islands.[21] | Vegapunk |
| Lineage Factor Research |
|
Discovering the existence of the Lineage Factor (along with Vinsmoke Judge) and successfully manipulating it for biological experiments.[22] | Vegapunk |

|
Flowers that bloom out of gunpowder. This achievement earned him the Ibel Peace Prize (イベル平和賞, Iberu Heiwa Shō?, English versions: "Mobel Peace Prize").[26] These flowers were later utilized as ammunition for rifles and other weapons, as seen when SWORD member Hibari used a sniper filled with GP Flower bullets.[27] | Vegapunk |

Enabling inanimate objects to "eat" fruits and gain their powers.[29] | Vegapunk |
| Replicating Devil Fruit powers |
|
Artificially replicate Devil Fruit powers for other weapons (namely, developing lasers by researching the mechanics of the Pika Pika no Mi).[30] | Vegapunk |
| The science of Devil Fruits |
|
He discovered that Devil Fruits alter the Lineage Factors of their consumers,[29][31] and utilized Kaidou's Lineage Factor to create an artificial replica of the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu. It was labeled a failure,[32] solely due the incorrect coloration of Momonosuke's Dragon form,[33] and so its consumer has managed to manifest many of the same abilities. | Vegapunk |
| Green Blood |
|
A substance created from the Lineage Factor of Paramecia-type Devil Fruit users, in order to replicate those fruits' abilities. | Vegapunk |
| Weaponry | |||
| Vegaforce-01 |
|
Created and pilots an enormous mecha called the Vegaforce-01.[34] | Lilith |

| Bubble Gun (バブルガン, Baburu Gan?)[41] |
|
A pistol that shoots giant bubbles. The bubbles are made of sea energy and thus weaken any Devil Fruit user who touches or are encased by them. They also do not pop as easily as regular bubbles. A rifle variant is also possessed by Lilith. | Lilith |
