Good Morningyo (グッドモー人魚, Guddo Mōningyo^?, VIZ: "Good Morn-maid") is a song that Brook performed during his time as a soldier of the Esperia Kingdom to awaken his fellow countrymen in the very early morning,^[1] making it similar in purpose to "Black Handkerchief of Happiness".

Trivia

• The song features a repeated theme of creating portmanteaus with ningyo (人魚^?), the Japanese word for "mermaid". These portmanteaus are created with the words "morning" (mor-ningyo) and "ending" (endin-gyo).
  • The same effect is achieved in the VIZ translation by replacing the final "ing" with "-maid".
