Axel^[2] is a student at the Walrus School on Elbaph.^[1]

Appearance

Axel is an average-sized giant child. He wears a helmet with an eye guard.

Axel has mischievous streak as he and Gustav attempted to capture humans for their amusement. However, he is quick to fold under pressure.^[1]

When the Straw Hat Pirates visited the Walrus School, Axel and Gustav chased Luffy, Zoro and Usopp, attempting to capture the humans. However, they were stopped by Ylva, Ronja and a third girl. When they were berated, Axel and Gustav quickly apologized.^[1]

Axel or Aksel is a common Scandinavian name, which follows the Nordic theme of Elbaph.
